To support our business, we are looking for an Account Manager Italy.

Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join our team of five colleagues dedicated to the Italian market. This is a new position created to address the increasing demand for our instruments and the anticipated growth in our software solutions. The role is home-office based.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage customer relationships in the Italian market through customer visits and remote meetings.
  • Drive sales of color control and matching systems, as well as software solutions, to our existing customer base.
  • Manage customer interactions related to maintenance contracts, renewals, and selling service agreements.
  • Qualify leads generated from marketing campaigns and sales programs.
  • Consistently meet monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Use Salesforce (CRM) to maintain accurate business forecasts, track leads, activities, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Collaborate with the marketing department and management to promote sales growth and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Identify and develop opportunities with new customers.
  • Occasionally participate in trade shows to represent our brand and offerings.

Experience & Qualifications

You:

  • Are fluent in Italian and English (both oral and written). English is the corporate language.
  • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field (preferred).
  • Have proven experience in industrial equipment sales and ideally experience with software sales.
  • Are proficient in using computers and have experience working with CRM systems (Salesforce experience is a plus).
  • Enjoy working with customers over the phone and excel in remote selling, with a perseverance and effective communication style.
  • Are willing to meet customers face-to-face as needed (up to 30% travel).
  • Work independently, are well-organized, and eager to learn.

Additional Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of the textile or plastics industry.
  • Experience working with or selling spectrophotometers.
  • German speaking is an extra asset
