What you’ll be responsible for:

The Provider Liaison is responsible for the day-to-day activities of managing a specific clinical service line and assigned to a group of physicians and Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), together known as ‘clinicians.’  The Provider Liaison is key to the success of the Infectious Disease and Cardiology service line’s operational performance and clinical culture, ensuring proactively that clinicians have what they need to succeed and thrive in their clinical work.  


  What you’ll work on:

  • Function as the key agent for Infectious Disease and Cardiology physicians and Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) with administration including but not limited to:
    • Build and sustain trust-based relationships with clinicians - Regular communication, Proactively solve issues that arise, Provide resources as needed and Advocate for support
    • Act as the Point of Contact for the physicians and APPs and respond timely to clinician needs by facilitating administrative support (e.g., Payroll, HR, Legal, Accounting, IT, Revenue Cycle, Clinical Support)
    • Expedite administration for hiring, onboarding, employment status changes, and offboarding
    • Fully prepare clinicians for their first shift - Ensure EMR access and training is completed
      • Ensure Access TeleCare clinical systems training is completed Including but not limited to TIQ, Salesforce RingCentral, Ultralinq, Box, etc.
      • Arrange billing and coding training for all new employees
      • Arrange clinical onboarding with the Medical Director and/or Service Line Chief and ensure completion of onboarding forms  
    • Be the liaison between clinicians, company administration, and clients as needed  
    • Support clinicians to ensure successful completion of credentialing, licensing, privileging (CLP), EMR access and training
    • Maintain critical information for clinicians’ clinical effectiveness on-shift: Privileging profiles, EMR system access information, Client-specific workflows, Communicate upcoming changes such as new sites, new workflows, etc
    • Support clinicians with resolution of technical issues while on-shift - Provide assistance with EMR system access technical issues in conjunction with the Facility IT department and  with Access TeleCare cart technology in conjunction with the Access TeleCare IT department
      • Track and ensure resolution of all cart technology issues to ensure minimal impacts to patient care
      • Provide assistance with any Access TeleCare software/program in conjunction with the Access TeleCare IT department
  • Facilitate the management of Infectious Disease and Cardiology Physicians and Advanced Practice Providers (APPs)

    • Communicate company and service line announcements and policies
    • Confirm completion of signed orders, consult notes, and other clinical documentation based on reports from client services   
    • Partner with CLP to ensure appropriate prioritization and communicate with scheduling for first-shift readiness
    • Anticipate expiration of CLP, EMR access, DEA/CDS, and other necessary elements for clinical work to avoid downtime
    • Maintain up-to-date information on clinicians’ profiles: work status, contract type, Pod assignment, demographics, etc.  
    • Maintain comprehensiveness and accuracy of administrative datasets utilizing company provided applications
    • Distribute Provider Dashboards to each active provider on a monthly basis
    • Update and distribute Provider Roadmaps for onboarding providers  on a monthly basis

    • Assist with the implementation of new Infectious Disease and Cardiology programs 
    • Facilitate the administration of Antibiotic Stewardship and Medical Director meetings: Organize Antibiotic Stewardship Implementation meetings with Access TeleCare team and clients.
      1. Meeting responsibilities include but are not limited to:
        • Scheduling meetings
        • Preparing any meeting materials (PowerPoints, etc.)
        • Compiling meeting minutes and record attendance
        • Tracking progress of action items
      2. Support Medical Directors in planning go-lives of new sites and services
      3. Provide performance metrics to Medical Directors and ensure execution of management tasks
