3-Month Contract
100% REMOTE

We seek a highly motivated and skilled Technical Writer to join our team to deliver exceptional documentation for IT Services and internal stakeholders. In this role, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and solution architects, to gather information and produce top-notch technical documentation, network diagrams, technical architecture overviews, and business process manuals. Your expertise in simplifying complex technical concepts will be vital in ensuring that our internal teams can easily understand and make the most of our resources and offerings.  
 
Key Responsibilities:
 

  • Gather, analyzes, and composes information provided by subject matter experts (SME). 
  • Translate SME information into clear, readable documents and process maps to be used by users. 
  • Ensure consistency, clarity, and quality in and across all types of documentation. 
  • Performs editing and quality control functions on department documentation.  
  •  Ensure documents are technically and mechanically accurate, and consistent regarding clarity, flow, organization, completeness, and readability. 
  • Conduct thorough research to ensure the accuracy and completeness of technical information.
 
Qualifications:
 
  • Minimum of five years combined experience in technology communication, technical writing, and project management.  
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple documentation projects simultaneously, adhering to deadlines. 
  • Superb verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to generate innovative technical content that people enjoy consuming.  
  • Experience with process flows and diagramming, including network diagramming.  
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Viso, Biz Design or related software. 
  • Team player
  • Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Problem solving, multi-tasking, innovation and creativity.
  • MBA, CFA and/or Sustainability experience would be a plus.
