Position Overview

Reporting to the Chief of Staff, the Executive Assistant, CEO & Board Relations plays a critical role in optimizing the CEO’s time, focus, and energy to drive the organization’s highest priorities. This role manages executive workflows, facilitates seamless communication between the CEO, senior leadership, and the Board of Directors, and ensures strategic alignment across key initiatives.

Strategic Leadership & CEO Partnership (70%)

  • Act as a trusted advisor to the CEO, ensuring alignment between high-level strategic priorities and daily execution.
  • Take full ownership of the CEO’s calendar, building a proactive, human-centered schedule that balances priorities and personal needs (e.g. meals, rest, travel margin), enabling the CEO to show up prepared and at their best.
  • Coordinate all CEO travel and meeting logistics, including booking flights, accommodations, and transportation with attention to timing, transitions, and pre/post-meeting preparation.
  • Track, synthesize, and respond to communications, including LinkedIn, email, and text, ensuring timely follow-up and the ability to draft communication as an extension of the CEO
  •  Prepare executive briefings by reviewing, consolidating agendas, and prepping materials
  • Track and synthesize high volumes of communication (email, text, LinkedIn, Gchat), managing timely follow-ups and flagging strategic opportunities.
  • Maintain and leverage systems like Salesforce and other platforms to support contact management, stakeholder engagement, and meeting preparation.
  • Coordinate executive retreats, high-profile internal events, and key investor meetings, ensuring seamless execution and follow-through.
  • Lead logistics and support for CEO-led events, including investor meetings, internal retreats, and other high-profile convenings.


Board & External Engagement (20%)

  • Partner with the COS and CEO to support governance priorities and Board engagement.
  • Act as a liaison between the CEO and Board of Directors, ensuring seamless coordination of governance priorities.
  • Own scheduling and logistics for Board and committee meetings, managing invitations, RSVPs, attendance, materials, and follow-up coordination.
  • Build and steward relationships with Board members and other external stakeholders, demonstrating responsiveness, professionalism, and discretion.
  • Oversee logistics for Board events, including room booking, catering, AV setup, and stakeholder coordination.

Organizational & Operational Support (10%)

  • Serve as an integral member of the Executive Assistant team, providing rotational and ad hoc support as needed across various communication channels, including email, Gchat, phone, and text.
  • Maintain organization-wide calendars, ensuring alignment on key milestones and strategic moments.
  • Leverage technology and digital tools to optimize systems, enhance executive efficiency, and streamline team collaboration.
  • Continuously strengthen internal processes and provide both operational and tactical support to senior leaders, helping drive mission-critical projects forward with a focus on strategic execution and seamless coordination.

Candidate Requirements:

  • You have 10-15 years of experience providing effective administrative support in a fast-paced entrepreneurial professional setting
  • You have superior organizational skills and an ability to effectively and efficiently manage multi-faceted projects while driving toward deadlines
  • You are an exceptional oral and written communicator
  • You have a fanatical attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work product
  • You have a proven track record of exuding deep responsibility for and a sense of ownership for optimizing the CEO’s time
  • You have a proven track record of building and stewarding executive relationships


STARTING SALARY
The salary range for the Executive Assistant position will be $94,877 - $108,579 annually, with the exact salary depending on prior work experience and the assessment of one's fit for the role. Additionally, New Profit provides a suite of competitive benefits including health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, retirement benefits, and a generous PTO policy with an end-of-year holiday break.
