Job description

The Manager, Digital Marketing will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing digital marketing strategies that align to top-level business goals. This individual will be responsible for owning strategic vision of digital marketing and managing RxBenefits’ web properties, driving SEO, email nurture programs, and digital advertising initiatives that effectively capture and convert inbound demand. The ideal candidate will leverage their deep digital marketing expertise to drive the brand forward, ensuring our digital presence aligns with and supports growth across the business.

Responsibilities Include: 

  • Web Property Management: Proactively own and lead the strategic planning, implementation, and maintenance of our web properties to capture and convert inbound demand.
    • Ensure all web properties are regularly audited to align with current messaging and remain current with industry changes.
    • Collaborate closely with creative and content leaders to optimize UX for each persona to drive measurable inbound activity
  • SEO Management: Continuously research, monitor, and leverage strategic keyword opportunities to inform content strategies and improve website rankings and visibility.
    • Develop and regularly update a list of priority keywords with regular reporting to the broader marketing team on ranking performance.
    • Collaborate closely with Content Marketing and other marketing functions to align strategies for SEO across all audiences and verticals.
  • Email Marketing: Direct permissions-based email programs supporting the full marketing lifecycle, including acquisition, conversion, onboarding, and loyalty.
    • Advise Demand Generation partners on digital marketing best practices to execute high-performing integrated campaigns
  • Paid Digital Marketing: Oversee and optimize paid search, social media, display advertising, and retargeting efforts.
    • Promote testing innovative new tactics with target personas to target the right ad mix by audience and vertical type
    • Build best practices around deploying retargeting, geofencing, programmatic, and other ads and document in playbook
  • Innovation & Testing: Explore innovative digital channels, employing A/B testing and “test-and-learn” mindset to evaluate and optimize performance and impact.
    • Facilitate proactive information sharing across marketing functions based on testing outcomes and document best practices
  • Analytics & Reporting: Use closed-loop analytics to understand digital marketing effectiveness and optimize for Opportunities and Bookings.
    • Develop and regularly report on scorecard for each function within digital marketing providing insights into what the data is telling about how strategy is performing
    • Adjust digital strategies, as needed, based on analytics and communicate those changes across marketing leadership
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to provide strategic guidance from the digital marketing point-of-view, including design and product marketing, to launch targeted acquisition campaigns.
    • Partner with internal teams, including design and communications, to maintain a regular cadence of web and blog content in support of team goals.
  • Social Media: Collaborate with Communications team to synchronize social media and other digital activities.
    • Help develop and deploy paid social media advertising
    • Ensure social media strategy is integrated into broader digital marketing efforts
  • Content Creation: Occasional ad hoc copywriting, prototyping, and wireframing.
    • Collaborate with the Content team for ongoing content publication, including non-marketing specific efforts supporting corporate brand building
  • Management and Leadership: Effectively manage resources, including team members, external vendors, and budget, to maximize team output
    • Lead the digital marketing team for RxBenefits, with direct supervision over team members responsible for marketing automation, outbound email, digital ads, and web development functions
    • Manage vendor relationships to effectively support digital marketing needs that augment the core competencies of internal staff

Required Experience & Skills: 

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience
  • 7-10 years’ digital marketing experience in B2B environment with a proven track record of success.
  • Experience owning and driving digital marketing strategy with closed-loop reporting
  • Meaningful experience with marketing automation systems (Pardot preferred); Salesforce administrator experience a plus
  • Experience with ABM platforms like DemandBase or 6sense
  • Proficiency with HTML, CSS and content management system(s) (WordPress preferred)
  • Strong collaboration, communication and leadership skills to work on a close-knit, cross-functional marketing team
  • Self-motivated, entrepreneurial, and tech-savvy; gets excited over digital marketing strategies
  • Possesses a positive, do-whatever-it-takes attitude and a thirst for knowledge
  • Comfortable making recommendations and can back them up with data and experience
  • Can handle both strategy and execution of lead generation and operations; can dive into details
  • Strong analytic skills including ability to synthesize data and provide insights and strategic actions
  • Must be able to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Pharmacy or healthcare experience a plus

Based on relevant market data and other factors, the anticipated hiring range for this role is $96,000 - $120,000 annually. Final compensation rates will be determined based on various factors, including but not limited to experience, skills, knowledge, and internal equity considerations. This role is also short-term incentive eligible. Incentive amounts will vary by individual and business goals.
