Schedule:

  • 20+ hours/week, with potential to transition to full-time

  • Flexible hours, anytime from 8 AM to 5 PM Denville, NJ time

Scope:

  • Manage all aspects of company's financial records and reporting

  • Develop and implement financial processes and controls

  • Provide strategic financial insights to support business decision-making

  • Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities

  • Collaborate with CEO and COO on financial strategy and planning

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and reconcile financial transactions in QuickBooks

  • Generate and analyze financial reports including P&L, balance sheets, and cash flow statements

  • Provide financial insights and metrics such as client acquisition costs, revenue per client, and monthly recurring revenue

  • Calculate and monitor key performance indicators like gross profit margin and operating cash flow

  • Assist with invoicing processes and follow-ups

  • Categorize and manage expenses, including business-related travel

  • Offer guidance on financial best practices and systems improvements

  • Prepare and manage payroll processes

  • Assist with tax-related documentation and filings for S corp structure


Requirements
:

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent qualification preferred

  • Proficiency in QuickBooks and advanced Excel skills

  • Strong understanding of financial reporting and analysis

  • Experience with S corp accounting and tax considerations

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Ability to work independently and proactively in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data management
