How You'll Make an Impact
We are looking for a ML Ops Engineer who will take a key role on our team.  The ideal candidate must have knowledge in all stages of software development and seamlessly move between back-end development and front-end development.  You will be working alongside and collaborating with our team architects, developers and you will be responsible for creation and support for Fidelity Canada’s web properties.  

What We Are Looking For

  • Collaborate with stakeholders, technology teams, and agile project managers to define Data Analytics requirements for each scrum and project, mapping out end-to-end solutions

  • Design, develop, and optimize ETL/ELT data pipelines using Snowflake and Informatica Cloud to support ML model training and inference

  • Implement data ingestion, transformation, and processing workflows for structured and unstructured data sources

  • Automate Data validation, Monitoring, and Governance processes to ensure data quality and reliability

  • Write scalable and maintainable Python scripts for Data Engineering and ML model deployment

  • Productionize ML pipelines on AWS, leveraging services such as S3, Lambda, Step Functions, SageMaker, and ECS/EKS

  • Optimize Data Storage, Retrieval, and Performance Tuning in Snowflake for ML workloads

  • Collaborate with Data Scientists, MLOps, and DevOps teams to integrate ML models into production

  • Support the monitoring of model performance and retrain models as needed to maintain accuracy and efficiency

  • Implement CI/CD pipelines for ML workflows, ensuring seamless deployment and monitoring

  • Collaborate with other Data analytics teams and partners to define best practices for Data, Visualization, and Machine Learning

  • Present results to Business stakeholders and assist in implementing data-driven changes

What we are looking for

  • 3+ years of experience in ML engineering, with a focus on Data Engineering and Data Pipeline Development

  • Proficiency in Snowflake or Oracle, including performance tuning, query optimization, and data modeling

  • Hands-on experience with Informatica Cloud (IICS) for data integration and ETL workflows

  • Strong programming skills in Python, with experience in data processing libraries (Pandas, PySpark, etc.)

  • Expertise in AWS services such as S3, Lambda, Glue, Step Functions, SageMaker, ECS/EKS, and CloudWatch

  • Experience in orchestrating Data pipelines using Airflow, MLFLOW or AWS Step Functions

  • Familiarity with ML model deployment, Monitoring, and lifecycle management in production environments

  • Knowledge of CI/CD practices, including tools like Git, Docker, and Terraform

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to prepare project documentation and presentations

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment

  • Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Economics, or Mathematic or equivalent working experience

  • AWS Certification, Kubernetes would be an asset
