Field Technical Service Specialist - Mycotoxins, USAC

Neogen Corporation is seeking a Field Technical Service Specialist, Mycotoxins to join our team. In this role, you will provide technical support to customers and sales representatives, including troubleshooting, product demonstrations, training, and post-sale customer assistance. This position is fully remote but requires up to 50% travel domestically and to Canada to support Neogen’s growing mycotoxin business.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide technical expertise, customer service, and troubleshooting support for mycotoxin-related products.

• Conduct technical demonstrations, installations, and training for customers.

• Communicate effectively with customers via email and phone, ensuring all inquiries are addressed promptly.

• Collaborate with internal teams to fulfill customer needs and escalate complex issues as needed.

• Maintain accurate records and provide follow-up support to customers.

• Participate in additional responsibilities as assigned by management.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Food Science, or a related field.

• 2+ years of experience in food safety and quality systems, mycotoxin testing, or an analytical lab environment.

• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to learn new technologies.

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

• Willingness to travel 50% domestically and internationally.

• Must reside in one of the following states near a major airport: IL, IA, IN, MI, PA, ND, SD, KS, NE, OH.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Post-graduate degree in Chemistry, Biology, Food Science, or a related field.

• 5+ years of experience in food safety, mycotoxin testing, or diagnostic testing for the food industry.

• Experience in customer service or sales.

• Bilingual (English & Spanish) is a plus.
