About The AMD - HP Field Business Development Representative:
MarketStar currently has an opportunity available for a Field Business Development Representative role supporting our new AMD-HP Alliance team. The Field Business Development Representative will be responsible for strategy, developing relationships, and driving sales within enterprise and commercial accounts.
Location: CT - Remote
What Will You Do?
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing accounts to expand AMD’s market presence.
Provide answers to client and server-related pre-sales questions for account managers and customers.
Regular onsite visits to assigned clients to develop and grow relationships.
Own and manage a pipeline of client and server opportunities within the accounts that identifies revenue and strategic markets and/or customers.
Follow up on client and server bid opportunities with clients.
Promote the use of tools that may include but are not limited to online training, bid desk, trade-in programs, value-add promotions, and other sales incentive programs.
Provide regular feedback on the effectiveness of the tools as issues arise.
Conduct client and/or server-sponsored floor days, tabletops (if applicable and allowed by all necessary parties), and any other duties as assigned.
Acquire and analyze monthly, quarterly, and yearly reporting to recognize areas of strength and opportunities for growth and deliver a trend analysis monthly.
What Will You Need to Succeed?
Sales background to present value propositions and solutions to customers.
Understanding of technological solutions to provide accurate information.
Experience working with partners like OEM partners.
Technical pre-sales experience.
Proven experience conducting group presentations or training.
Ability to travel up to 50%.

The salary range for this position is between $90,000.00 and $100,000.00 annually. This pay structure may also include a variable bonus component of $40,000.00 annually. There are several factors to consider including but not limited to, the role’s responsibilities, experience, location, education/training, internal equity, and key skills.
