Job Description:

The Sr. Product Analyst , Data & Analytics will play a crucial role in driving data-driven decision-making to enhance product efficiency, streamline operations, and improve overall product performance. This role will work closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to optimize processes, improve user experiences, and ensure that the right data is used to inform key business decisions.

  • Analyze Product Data: Examine performance metrics to identify trends and improvement areas in product development life cycle.
  • Collaborate with Teams: Work alongside finance, client success, engineering to gather and maintain datasets to create various product report-outs
  • Develop Reports: Create and maintain dashboards to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) of product development, while ensuring data accuracy and consistency across various operational and product reporting platforms.
  • Present Insights: Share data-driven recommendations with stakeholders and senior management.
  • Support Product Lifecycle: Optimize workflows by identifying areas where automation or process enhancements can improve product operations.
  • Assist in defining and refining key product success metrics and ensuring alignment across teams.
  • Perform other duties that support the overall objective of the position.

Education Required:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Or, any combination of education and experience which would provide the required qualifications for the position.

Experience Required:
  • 4-6 years of experience in product analytics, business intelligence, or a related field.
  • Proven experience working with SQL, data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI), and statistical programming languages (Python, R).
  • Experience with handling large datasets and creating reports to support product operations.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Knowledge of: Best practices in product operations analytics, data visualization, and reporting.    Common tools used by product managers such as Aha, Mixpanel, Pendo, JIRA, etc.
  • Skill in: Data storytelling—translating complex data into actionable insights.    Effective communication and presentation of findings to non-technical stakeholders. Writing efficient SQL queries and working with relational databases. Critical thinking, problem solving.
  • Ability to: Work in a fast-paced environment; stay organized, prioritize workload, multi-task, and meet deadlines. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and translate business needs into analytical solutions. Provide data-driven recommendations.
