As a Technical Recruiter at Vetcove, you will play a critical role in helping to expand the team with top talent. In this role, you will define sourcing strategies, review resumes, engage passive candidates through outreach, evaluate, and ensure a smooth hiring process for candidates. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of technical roles, the recruitment lifecycle, and the ability to attract and engage top-tier talent in a competitive market.

What You’ll Do
  • Source and engage top talent for unique and evergreen roles across engineering teams and departments 

  • Partner with the recruiting team to determine best practices across research techniques, boolean searches, tools, networking and other sourcing methods

  • Help with resume review in our ATS Ashby

  • Conduct phone interviews to assess technical skills, cultural fit, and overall qualification

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand hiring needs and define job requirements for technical positions

  • Provide a positive and engaging candidate experience throughout the recruitment process

  • Stay current on trends and best practices in technical recruiting, and continuously seek ways to improve the recruitment process.

  • Use data-driven insights to develop and refine recruitment strategies

You should have
  • 2+ years of experience in technical recruitment for startups or recruiting for engineering, software development, or similar roles for startups

  • Bachelor's Degree 

  • Strong understanding of technical roles, including software engineers, data scientists, network engineers, etc

  • Experience using recruitment tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter, applicant tracking systems (ATS), and sourcing platforms

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple job openings and priorities simultaneously.

  • Knowledge of technical interview processes and technical screening techniques.

  • Ability to build relationships and engage with passive candidates.

  • Organizational and time-management skills with superb attention to detail

  • A customer-focused attitude, excellent interpersonal skills to handle all levels within an organization, and a track record of providing a high-touch experience to both candidates and hiring managers

The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is: $70,000/year - $100,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits.  There is a different range applicable to specific work locations. For Colorado, the salary range is: $70,000 - $90,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. This salary range is a good faith estimate of what Vetcove may pay for this position at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on skills, qualifications, and experience. The range reflects the base hourly rate or annual compensation (as applicable), and does not include bonus, equity or other incentives.
