Group Product Manager to join Lightspeed’s Retail team. In this role, you will ensure the best possible end-to-end experience for Lightspeed retailers by: fully understanding the retailer landscape and challenges; discover and define the biggest retailer problems to solve; facilitating the prototyping, design, validation and development of usable solutions; and developing a world-class product team and culture.

What you’ll be doing: 

  • Growing your team of Product Managers including coaching, developing and guiding their career planning and managing their workload. 
  • Developing an excellent product culture and practices, ensuring high velocity testing and problem discovery and top notch stakeholder management. 
  • Shaping the long term product strategy for our core product to generate revenue, growth and customer satisfaction by exploring and analysing new business opportunities in close collaboration with the biz dev and strategy team. 
  • Managing and engaging non-solution stakeholders and ensuring their buy-in for the product strategy.

  • Strong retailer advocacy, increasing retailer empathy and understanding in the company. 
  • Ensuring business objectives are reached by hiring and growing the right capabilities and by building a culture that fuels business success 
  • Contributing as part of the wider team to achieve organisational objectives even if this means doing things that aren’t strictly within the scope of your role.

What you need to bring: 

Successful candidates must have a proven product management track record in SaaS products at scale.

  • Education: University degree or some form of post-secondary education.
  • Product management: significant experience in Product management roles in software companies; 5+ years
  • People leadership: proven experience leading and growing teams, and specifically Product Managers
  • Insight/Analysis: demonstrable expertise in driving product strategy from customer insight & analysis
