About the opportunity:

Serve as a liaison between customers, IT staff, and vendors for software support issues. Lead the design, build, testing, support, maintenance, and troubleshooting of assigned clinical applications and systems.

What you will do:
  1. Plan, lead, and coordinate the design, build, installation, upgrade, updates, and user training of new and established Information Systems to maintain appropriate levels of technology and functionality as determined by Vail Health and vendors.
  2. Work with IT team members, vendors, and customers to coordinate project plans, including: timetables, testing, training, and implementation dates. Keep involved personnel informed of changes via email update, meetings, etc.
  3. Prioritize, investigate, and troubleshoot problems and questions pertaining to system applications, hardware, interfaces, and data processing as appropriate. Solve the problem and/or help determine correct measures to be taken toward the solution. Document status of issues on a timely basis.
  4. Work with vendors to solve software/hardware issues.
  5. Communicate with customers in a prompt, courteous, professional manner. Evaluate problems in a timely manner and collect all information required to solve the problem.
  6. Communicate appropriately to local and/or remote support staff and works together with these entities to develop a solution to the problem.
  7. Take calls as scheduled to meet around-the-clock needs of system users.
  8. Assist clinical areas with the development and support of application specialists of “super users”.
  9. Assist these application specialists with development of training materials that accurately reflect system(s) and their appropriate usage by customers.
  10. Provide and maintain system documentation and procedures for IT applications.
  11. Perform other duties as assigned. Must be HIPAA compliant.

Pay is based upon relevant education and experience per year.

Yearly Pay:
$87,568$109,470.40 USD
