How you will impact the organization…

Events and trade shows are an important part of Consensus Cloud Solution’s overall sales and marketing strategy. Reporting to the Associate Director of Events, the Event Coordinator assumes full ownership of each third-party event that they plan, whether they attend or not. While the Event Coordinator will delegate some of the details to supplier-partners, they also need to ensure that every detail is executed completely, accurately, and on-time.

 

The value you will deliver…

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute all aspects of assigned third-party events, mostly taking place in North America, International shows as needed.
  • Liaise & coordinate with third-party event organizers.
  • Work with internal stakeholders to determine goals and needs for each third-party event they are assigned, whether in-person or virtual.
  • Work with supplier-partners to arrange show service rentals, electrical, furniture, flooring, material handling, shipping and booth labor for each third-party event.
  • Manage and execute third-party event marketing and promotional plans intended to maximize company exposure and produce sales leads including but not limited to: social media and advertising campaigns and pre and post event email campaigns
  • Manage payment of exhibit fees for convention booth space, sponsorships, and registrations for Consensus attendees.
  • Diligently track expenses and adhere to individual event and overall annual budget
  • Coordinate hotel room blocks and individual reservations for Consensus team members
  • Research industry trade shows for possible participation.
  • Communicate openly and effectively with all stakeholders, host pre and post event meetings with internal attendees to ensure alignment.
  • Assist with Consensus hosted events, as needed.
  • Travel and manage onsite logistics at events as needed.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as required, assigned, or requested. Consensus reserves the right to add or change duties at any time.

 

What you will bring to the table…

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or equivalent work experience
  • 2+ years experience in event or trade show management
  • 1+ year experience in using Google Suite, Excel, Powerpoint 
  • 1 year of experience independently travelling and managing onsite events
  • The ability to manage competing workloads and prioritize requests to meet deadlines
  • Outstanding project management skills
  • Strong problem solving and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to work independently and with minimal direction
  • Robust attention to details
  • Technology savvy
  • Ability to utilize computer software, including Google Suite, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to travel on-site for events, as needed

  • Contract negotiating experience
  • Experience with ExhibitForce, Cvent, Salesforce

 

Additional details…

  • Location requirements: Fully remote within the U.S. 
  • Travel requirements: Up to 20% travel
  • Physical requirements: Must be able to sit for long periods, as well as, handle long periods of screen time
  • Technology requirements: Reliable, high speed internet
  • Eligible for sponsorship: No

 

The salary range for this role is $65,000 - $75,000 USD annually. The total compensation package for this position is negotiable and may also include annual performance bonus, ESPP, enhanced time off packages and benefits.
