Job description

Storable is looking for an intermediate Software Engineer who is passionate about software quality and improving the design/development process to play a crucial role in building and scaling our industry-leading Facility Management Software.

What you will do: 
  • Design/develop/maintain our web-based applications using C# .NET, ASP.NET, SQL, Node.js, React, HTML, CSS, Javascript, Typescript, and other technologies.
  • Utilize established development tools, guidelines, and conventions including but not limited to ASP.NET, SQL Server, C# .NET, React, Node.js, HTML, CSS, Javascript, and Typescript.
  • Enhance design policies, processes, procedures, methods, tests.
  • Build/improve continuous integrations/ continuous development and continuous deployment pipeline (CI/CD pipeline).
  • Communicate and coordinate effectively within the squad, across our technology team, and with our business partners to deliver on top priorities.
  • Investigate and develop skills in new technologies.
  • Monitor everyday activities of the system and provide required support.

 

What you will need: 
  • Must Haves:
    • Bachelor’s degree in a computer-related degree program or equivalent work experience.
    • 3+ years of design/development experience with .NET, C#, ASP.NET, Node.js, React, SQL, Javascript, and Typescript.
    • Good understanding of best software engineering practices for the full development life cycle (SDLC), including coding standards, code review, source control, build, test, deployment, and operations.
    • Experience with SQL database and writing SQL queries.
    • Experience with Agile methodologies.
    • Good verbal and written communication skills
    • Strong problem-solving skills.
    • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and responsible team player.
    • Quick learner and enthusiastic to pick up challenging tasks.
  • Nice to Haves:
    • Design Patterns
    • Experience participating in Agile practices such as Test-Driven Development (TDD), Refactoring, and design principles like SOLID, etc.
    • BDD (behavior-driven development).
    • AWS certification.
    • Experience with infrastructure cloud tools such as Terraform, Docker, etc.
