Job description

HubSpot’s Legal & Compliance team serves as a key building block for our company, supporting the growth and development objectives of the business.  Our team supports all areas of the business, including employee growth, product development, sales and services, mergers & acquisitions, data privacy and compliance, and more!  To drive growth and innovation, we are looking for a curious and proactive operations professional who is passionate about achieving operational excellence for our Legal and Compliance teams.

A primary responsibility of the team as we support HubSpot through this period of growth is to drive a technology roadmap that solves for our most critical scaling pain points.  As a Senior Business Analyst joining our team you’ll be responsible for implementing and supporting core technologies, building and improving processes, and leveraging data to help inform decisions that will solve for scale without sacrificing user experience.  You will drive initiatives that solve for our customers, our business, and our team. You will work closely with teams to deeply understand business challenges and develop solutions, and you will partner closely with our Employee Technology, Sales, Finance, and FinTech stakeholders to ensure we’re solving for the end to end experience.

In this role, you’ll get to:

  • Collaborate with internal users and business teams to understand their needs and act as their technical advisor and problem solver
  • Leverage your deep understanding of Legal & Compliance processes and systems to design and implement value add solutions in a large-scale environment.
  • Become the SME on a few specific systems: fully understand the business use case, challenges, and systems configuration as well as how it fits into our broader systems landscape.
  • Create and deliver on a technically feasible roadmap and advocate for iterative development, simplicity, reliability, and value
  • Configure in-app functionality, create integrations to and from SaaS applications using flow-based tools such as Workato, and own the implementation of our solution end-to- end.
  • Monitor industry trends to identify opportunities for leveraging AI and other emerging technologies to enhance operational efficiency and drive innovation.
  • Collaborate with Engineers where needed for rapid time to value
  • Work with Employee Tech, Fin Tech and other stakeholders to assess requirements, evaluate options, define integration needs and technical architecture to design the solution.
  • Enable data driven insights by making data more accessible, developing and reporting on key performance indicators.

We are looking for people who:

  • Has a deep understanding of contract lifecycle management (CLM) systems, document operations, and enterprise service management tools.
  • Has an eye for identifying overly complex processes and developing simple and scalable alternatives using technologies like webhooks and iPaaS (Workato expertise a plus)
  • Proficient (with hands on experience) in the technical areas of SaaS application management, app configuration and integration design
  • Data-driven and are proficient in gathering KPIs and metrics to demonstrate the value, performance and adoption generated by HubSpot's various technologies
  • Can sift through the business requirements to identify the most impactful solutions.
  • Can articulate a clear vision and roadmap and have lead cross-team executions for impactful business outcomes
  • Confident in managing a product vision and have established clear priorities that inform a broader roadmap
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to negotiate, influence and gain consensus with strong interpersonal skills
  • Are passionate about collaboration and effective communication across the business.
  • Thrives on organization, effective communication, impactful project management and autonomy.
