The Role

We are looking for a Lead Full Stack Engineer to join our motivated and growing team. We are a fast-moving, agile group of experienced engineers who take pride in our work. In this role, you will contribute to the development of the next generation of Numan products and play a key part in shaping the future of the company.

You’ll be:
  • Guiding and collaborating with your team to build and implement the Technical Strategy and Product Roadmap.
  • Partnering with product managers, designers, developers, and other stakeholders across the company to understand business needs and translate them into technological solutions, plans, and priorities.
  • Engaging in coding, architecture, best practices, and selecting appropriate tools and technologies. We currently use Python/Django and TypeScript/Node.js on the backend, and TypeScript/Next.js on the frontend.
  • Fostering a supportive and inclusive team culture while proactively identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Helping to maintain and enhance team well-being and performance.
  • Supporting and mentoring software engineers on the team, offering guidance, professional growth opportunities, and technical expertise.
  • Leading hiring efforts to expand and develop the team.

    • We’re looking for someone with:
  • Proven experience mentoring and managing a team of software engineers.
  • Expertise in designing, developing, and integrating web APIs.
  • Experience with distributed systems and modern, scalable web applications.
  • Proficiency in backend engineering with languages and frameworks such as Node.js, Express, Python, Django, or Rails.
  • Hands-on experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Next.js, TypeScript, Nuxt, Vue, etc.).
  • Knowledge of both relational and non-relational databases.
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies, along with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering thoughtful, user-centered products.
  • Collaborative leadership and communication skills, with the ability to empower and guide teams effectively.
