Position Overview

RecruitGo is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced remote bookkeeper based in Bali to join our team. This role offers the flexibility of remote work while providing essential financial support to businesses across multiple geographies (mainly Singapore, but also Cyprus, Luxembourg, Switzerland, and more). You will be responsible for maintaining the financial records of several entities, ensuring compliance with local and international regulations, and implementing efficient processes for financial reporting and forecasting.

Responsibilities:

Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for multiple entities using cloud-based accounting software (Xero, Dext, FathomHQ, etc.).
Record and categorize daily financial transactions, including income, expenses, assets, and liabilities.
Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
Reconcile bank and credit card statements regularly.
Prepare and present financial reports such as profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
Complete monthly, quarterly, and annual closing procedures.
Prepare withholding tax and social contributions reports for filing with relevant authorities.
Collaborate with clients' tax professionals to ensure accurate and timely tax filings.
Implement and maintain efficient bookkeeping processes tailored to each client's needs.
Ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations and standards.
Find innovative ways to streamline and enhance financial reporting and compliance processes.
Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting for clients.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting, preferably with startups or small businesses.
Strong understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards.
Proficiency with Xero, Dext, or similar cloud-based accounting software, and MS Office.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple entities simultaneously.
Detail-oriented mindset and ability to work independently.
Excellent communication skills in English.

Nice to have:

Basic understanding of financial processes and consolidation tools like FathomHQ.
Familiarity with international tax regulations, consolidation methods, and multi-currency transactions.
Certifications such as Certified Bookkeeper or Xero Certification are advantageous.
