Job description

This is a remote position.

Job Highlights:

Contract: Independent Contractor

Schedule:

20 hours per week; Monday-Friday; 10:30am to 2:30pm New York, USA, Eastern Time

Responsibilities:

Podcast Editing & Distribution: Edit the client's podcast episodes on Riverside, format them for Spotify, YouTube, and Apple Podcasts, and upload them across platforms.
Social Media Engagement: Manage all Instagram communication by responding to comments, DMs, and reposting stories to foster community engagement.
Content Creation & Promotion: Create engaging video clips for IG Reels and TikTok, post full video episodes on IG and TikTok, and develop strategies to promote the podcast.
Analytics & Reporting: Track podcast and social media performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
Influencer Outreach: Research and compile lists of 100+ influencers per week for potential collaborations. Manage influencer outreach, shipments, and tracking information in a spreadsheet.
Video Editing & Content Posting: Assist with editing and posting content across social media as needed.
Process Optimization: Create guides and SOPs to streamline social media and podcast workflows.
General Support: Assist with additional community engagement, social media, and podcast-related projects as they arise.

Requirements

Proficiency in podcast editing and distribution (Riverside, Spotify, YouTube, Apple Podcasts, etc.).
Experience managing social media accounts (especially Instagram and TikTok) and engaging with online communities.
Skilled in video editing for social media (IG Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts).
Strong organizational skills to manage influencer outreach and tracking.
Ability to create SOPs and process guides to optimize workflows.
Experience with graphic design and Canva is a plus!
