What do we need
nQuery, a Dotmatics Company, is looking for a .NET / C# Developer to join the team. You will work as part of a team of statisticians and developers on the world’s leading software for sample size and power calculations. nQuery is used by statisticians and clinical researchers in 48 of the Top 50 pharmaceutical companies globally. You can expect to be involved in developing exciting new functionality to be used in the clinical trial environment. Using Agile methodologies, the team is fast paced and organised with ample room for professional growth and personal development.
In this role you will get to
- Work with a team of statisticians and .NET developers to expand the functionality of a commercial application.
- Full stack development with end of end responsibility for implementing new features
- Provide input and put forward ideas in sprint plannings and other team meetings
- Perform testing, bug fixing and refactoring to improve the existing product.
- Research new technologies and initiatives
We are looking for people who have 3-5 years of development experience in C# and .NET and has proven ability to understand and translate mathematical/statistical procedures and algorithms into code.
The key skills we are looking for
- C# / .NET development
- Working knowledge of Windows/Desktop applications
- WPF (Windows Presentation Foundation) development
- ASP.NET Core web API development
- Version control systems (Git or others)
- Project management and bug tracking software (JIRA, Azure DevOps or others)
You may also have
- Development of unit tests (xUnit).
- Experience with R
- Experience working in an agile environment
- A background in Maths or Statistics
