As a Hardware Engineer, you will ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of Hapn’s hardware systems, contributing directly to our mission of revolutionizing asset management. Your key responsibilities will include:

Documentation: Develop and maintain clear, detailed test plans, procedures, and reports to support traceability and product quality.
Firmware Validation: Test firmware across diverse hardware platforms to ensure functionality, performance, and stability.
Hardware Validation: Perform comprehensive hardware tests to identify issues, optimize performance, and verify system reliability.
Field Testing: Conduct real-world hardware evaluations, collecting and analyzing data to confirm durability and operational success.
Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve hardware and firmware failures, leveraging analytical skills to drive effective solutions.
Collaboration: Partner with R&D teams to refine designs and enhance product performance based on test insights.

Requirements

Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in hardware and firmware testing for embedded systems or IoT devices.
Proven track record of executing field testing in rugged or industrial environments (e.g., construction, logistics, or manufacturing settings).
Experience with wireless communication protocols (e.g., GPS, Bluetooth, LTE, or LoRa) relevant to IoT hardware.
Proficiency in SQL for querying and analyzing test data.
Experience with scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, or C for test automation and data processing.
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent professional experience).
Working knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) and test management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail).

Preferred Qualifications:
Significant experience with Queclink, Teletonika, CalAmp or Suntech devices is a major advantage.
