Job description

Location: Malaysia, Philippines, Indonesia, Singapore, Thailand, Taiwan (Remote)
Team: Commercial | B2B Sales

Hi, we’re AMBOSS, We’re on a mission to empower healthcare professionals worldwide to provide the best possible care - and we’re looking for a motivated Sales Manager to help us grow our impact across Asia.

About AMBOSS

AMBOSS is an innovative learning and clinical decision support platform created by doctors for doctors. Today, we serve medical students, educators, and healthcare professionals in over 180 countries. With more than 500 employees based out of our headquarters in Berlin and offices in Cologne, New York, and Cagliari - as well as teammates across the rest of Europe, APAC, MENA, and LATAM - we’re committed to transforming medical education and clinical decision-making worldwide.

Why can this position be exciting for you?

We’re aiming to expand our reach at medical universities across Asia and are seeking a driven, strategic, and independent Sales Manager based in the region.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for acquiring new campus licenses, building strong relationships with key university stakeholders, representing AMBOSS at industry events, and directly contributing to the improvement of medical education and healthcare outcomes.

This is a remote position reporting to our headquarters in Germany. You’ll thrive here if you’re motivated, independent, well-structured and excited to help shape our growth in the region.

You will:
  • Own and execute the regional sales strategy focused on medical universities across Southeast Asia, Taiwan, and South Korea.
  • Generate new business by identifying leads, securing meetings, running demos, initiating trials, and closing campus licenses with complex, consultative sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders.
  • Proactively manage your sales pipeline to meet and exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets.
  • Deliver compelling product presentations, tailored proposals, and pricing aligned with AMBOSS’ strategy.
  • Develop deep market and product knowledge to understand university priorities and communicate how AMBOSS helps them achieve their goals.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key decision makers - including Deans, Vice Deans, and Faculty Heads - to drive adoption of AMBOSS at institutional level.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams (Regional Markets, Marketing, Partnerships) to align initiatives, share market insights and make the region successful together.
  • Represent AMBOSS at key conferences, events, and customer visits across the region.
  • Maintain accurate activity records in our CRM (HubSpot) to support data-driven decision-making.
You bring:
  • 4+ years of enterprise sales experience in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
  • Demonstrated success generating new business and working with C-level stakeholders.
  • Experience engaging directly with faculty leaders and university decision-makers is a plus.
  • Proven ability to work independently, build your own pipeline, and close strategic deals with minimal supervision.
  • Exceptional communication skills - ability to explain complex concepts simply and build trust with diverse audiences.
  • Self-motivated, structured, and comfortable navigating ambiguity in a fast-evolving international environment.
  • Fluent in English and at least one local language relevant to your region.
  • Proficient with CRM tools (e.g. HubSpot) and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Calendar, Mail).
  • Willingness to travel across the region (up to 60%).

If you’re passionate about education, healthcare, and building lasting partnerships - we’d love to hear from you.

Apply now and help us shape the future of medical education in Asia.
