As part of the Technical Education team, the instructional designer will play a pivotal role in designing and developing engaging, effective, and scalable online training content. Utilizing innovative tools like Articulate Rise, Genially, Canva, Synthesia, and other tools, the instructional designer will create high-quality technical learning experiences that enhance learner engagement and support organizational objectives.

 

You will make an impact in the following way: 

 

• Design and develop interactive, learner-centered training courses for online delivery on Belden Academy (LMS).
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to translate complex information into clear and engaging e-learning modules.
• Utilize e-learning tools like Articulate Rise, Storyline, Genially, Canva, and Synthesia to create visually appealing and effective training materials.
• Manage multiple instructional design projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget.
• Evaluate training effectiveness and implement improvements based on feedback and analytics.

 

What you will bring:

 

5+ years of experience in learning & development – Specialized in technical training design and creation.
Bachelor’s degree in instructional design, educational technology, business administration, marketing, or related field – Technical experience in industrial environments is a plus.
Proficiency in e-learning tools – Experience with Articulate Rise, Storyline, Genially, Canva, Synthesia, or equivalent platforms is required.
Experience working with Learning Management Systems (LMS) – Strong understanding of digital learning platforms.
Strong stakeholder management – Ability to align multiple stakeholders within project scope and timelines.

• Strong visual design, multimedia, and video creation skills.
• Attention to detail with the ability to simplify complex information into user-friendly training materials.
