At Purple we’re building a global fintech business from Czech Republic while creating meaningful financial products for our customers. Now, we’re looking for a Social Media Specialist to join our global marketing team.
Our Marketing team runs global campaigns for various financial services. We cooperate closely with business teams and bring their ideas to life. There are twelve of us, each with a specific area of expertise and contribution to our projects. Our colleagues are based in the Czech Republic, Cyprus, the UK, Vietnam, and Japan, but where you work from is up to you. Ideally, you’d be easily connected online during our regular working hours (roughly 9–5 CET).
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON:
Managing social media content – planning, preparing and publishing content across social media platforms (X, Facebook, Instagram, Tiktok, etc.)
Keeping up with trends on Japanese social media and ensuring our content stays relevant
Monitor and engage with our online community - respond to comments, messages, and mentions
Contributing to campaign planning and the creative process – researching industry trends and suggesting opportunities for engagement
Preparing insights for major campaigns – researching competitors, trends, and influencers, identifying collaboration opportunities
Localization from English to Japanese
Collaborating closely with the marketing team to execute campaigns effectively
WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU:
At least 1 year of marketing experience
Fluent Japanese (N1) and solid English (B2)
Hands-on experience with social media management (ideally X, TikTok, and Instagram)
Strong communication and writing skills
Passion for marketing – staying on top of social media trends and eager to learn
Ability to juggle multiple projects and handle ad hoc tasks
Attention to detail and a proactive approach
Creativity and fresh ideas
Bonus points if you’re familiar with:
Google Analytics, Meta Business
Design tools like Canva or Photoshop
