Our client is a small SaaS business providing solutions for the carer industry. They are updating their platform to a more scalable and future-proof system. The current platform is built with Angular, .NET, and SQL, and they are exploring ways to speed up UI/UX development using Lovable.dev or similar AI tools. Lovable.dev helps visualize and replicate pages, but it generates React code, while their platform uses Angular.
In this role, you will:
Assess Lovable.dev’s effectiveness by working with a home page we’ve generated, testing its feasibility for producing new pages and updating existing ones.
Evaluate the feasibility of converting Lovable.dev outputs to Angular, integrating them within our GitHub-based development workflow.
Explore strategies to fast-track UI development using Lovable.dev or other automation tools.
Provide insights into code portability between React and Angular.
If the trialis a success then on-going work will be to translate existing system pages (Version 1) into a modern UI while maintaining compatibility with our .NET-based back-end.
Work closely with our team to evaluate and integrate Lovable.dev with our technology stack.
Develop and test front-end components in React and translate them into Angular.
Ensure compatibility with our .NET back-end and multi-tenant database structure.
Provide recommendations on UI/UX best practices and workflow improvements.
Help establish an efficient development process for translating Lovable.dev designs into production-ready Angular code.
Advise on the current front-end stack and suggest optimisations.
Strong experience with Angular (latest versions), React, and .NET.
Proficiency in front-end UI frameworks and component-based architecture.
Ability to analyze and bridge the gap between React, Angular, and our existing system.
Willingness to experiment with Lovable.dev or other UI acceleration tools.
Experience with API integration and multi-tenant applications (preferred).
A full-stack developer comfortable working with both front-end and back-end technologies.
Someone who can think strategically about UI/UX speed and efficiency.
