Job description

The Sales Manager plays a critical role in driving sales and achieving revenue targets for our IPTV and direct-to-consumer solutions across Poland and Europe. This position requires a strong understanding of the media landscape, established relationships with key stakeholders, and a proven track record in sales. The ideal candidate should have experience developing new business opportunities, negotiating contracts, and fostering long-term relationships with both new and existing clients. This is a Remote role reporting directly to the VP of Sales, Networks EMEAA.

 

Responsibilities:

 

1. Business Development:

  •  Identify and engage potential clients, including operators, broadcasters, content owners, and media organizations, to generate new business opportunities.
  •   Conduct thorough market research to understand client needs and identify gaps in the market that our solutions can fill.

2. Sales Execution:

  •    Develop and execute an individual sales strategy to achieve or exceed revenue targets for IPTV and direct-to-consumer solutions.
  •    Lead the sales process from prospecting to closing, including conducting presentations, product demonstrations, and contract negotiations.

3. Client Relationship Management:

  •   Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and ongoing engagement.
  •    Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing insights and recommendations tailored to their business needs.

4. Market Analysis:

  •   Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to effectively position our solutions in the market.
  •   Analyze customer feedback and market data to identify opportunities for product enhancements and service improvements.

5. Collaboration with Internal Teams:

  •    Work closely with marketing and product teams to align sales initiatives with product offerings and market demands.
  •    Provide feedback and insights from client interactions to inform product development and marketing strategies.

6. Reporting and Metrics:

  •    Track sales performance metrics, prepare reports, and communicate progress to senior management.
  •    Continuously assess personal sales techniques and strategies to optimize performance.

 

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of sales experience in the telecommunications, media, or technology sectors, with a strong focus on IPTV and direct-to-consumer solutions.
  • Proven track record of successfully selling complex technology solutions to operators, broadcasters, and media organizations.
  • Strong understanding of the European media landscape and digital content distribution.
  • Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated and results-driven with the ability to work independently.
  • Fluency in English and at least one European language is preferred.
