The Opportunity
This position works remotely, supporting the Lingo Division, and reports to Lingo’s Global Head of Commercial Sales, Strategy & Operations.
Lingo is a new biosensing technology that provides users a window into their body. Lingo tracks key biomarkers – such as glucose, ketones, and lactate – to help people make better decisions about their health and nutrition. Biowearable technology will digitize, decentralize, and democratize healthcare, enabling consumers to take control of their own health.
What You’ll Work On
- Responsible for directing activities for the Lingo Sales Organization and establishes comprehensive strategies that achieve sales, margin, and market share objectives.
- Employs budget management compliance and forecast accuracy proficiency.
- Understands the competitive landscape to properly assess, determine, and prioritize potential growth opportunities.
- Drives and supports full product portfolio accountability by district managers and sales representatives.
- Constructs an environment with a focus on employee and leadership development.
- Ensures that all sales professionals operate in a legal and ethical manner, and that products and services are sold in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Leads a growing team of Field and Inside Sales Representatives.
- Develops a deep understanding of business drivers and an ability to influence them to achieve growth and overcome obstacles.
- Works with external and internal business partners to ensure a deep understanding of what customers want and how they operate.
- Balances the region strategy and objectives with the broader division/corporate strategy and objectives.
- Gains an understanding of executive expectations. Successfully conveys issues, makes requests, anticipates questions, and resolves concerns. Translates complex information confidently, clearly, and concisely to support decisions and/or recommendations. Provides strategic and tactical feedback to marketing.
- Develops and meets each sales plan through effective organization and leadership of sales teams
- Ensures the continued development of direct and indirect employees
- Directs the implementation of divisional sales and marketing programs
- Conducts business reviews to monitor performance and adjust resources as needed
- Ensures all activities fall within corporate compliance guidelines
- Achieves or exceeds annual sales and margin plan to ensure growth of the business and accomplishment of division strategies
- Maintains department spending within established budget guidelines

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required, ideally in Business Administration, Marketing, or Finance; MBA preferred
- Minimum 10 years total sales experience
- Minimum 5 years total managerial experience
- Healthcare professional experience required; office selling experience preferred; retail, consumer packaged goods, marketing, and finance experience beneficial
