Summer Internship Opportunity at Precisely: Dev or QA (Your Choice!) Precisely’s Summer Internship Program is a paid, part-time opportunity for undergraduate students actively enrolled in university. The program that begins July 1st and concludes September 30th. The Software Development Intern will work closely with the R&D team. Based in Bielsko-Biała, this is your chance to join a dynamic R&D team working at the forefront of innovation in communication technology.

Our projects range from RapidCX, a cutting-edge SaaS multitenant solution on the Amazon Web Services (AWS) platform, to the well-established EngageOne Compose, a robust Java-based application now optimized for containerized deployments on AWS. Whether you’re passionate about building scalable, modern cloud solutions or exploring the intricacies of maintaining and improving a legacy product, this internship offers something for everyone. We’re committed to providing flexibility in your role: depending on your preferences and skills, you can focus on software development or gain experience in quality management. This is your opportunity to explore multiple facets of the software lifecycle and develop valuable industry experience.

Responsibilities and duties: 

  • Develop and enhance software in our key projects: RapidCX and EngageOne Compose.
  • Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve issues across diverse environments and product areas.
  • Assist with testing (unit, integration, and system) to ensure quality and reliability.
  • Contribute to QA processes like automation, test planning, and execution—if you’re interested in quality management.
  • Document progress and results to contribute to our knowledge base and ensure smooth communication within the team.

Requirements and qualifications: 

  • Enthusiasm for technology: Whether it’s a passion for writing code or improving software quality, we want someone excited about what they do.
  • Strong English communication skills: You’ll be working with a global team.
  • Programming Skills: Basic knowledge of Java and/or Python is desirable. 
  • Database Knowledge: Understanding of relational (e.g., SQL) or document-based databases (e.g., MongoDB).
  • Version Control: Familiarity with systems like Git is a plus.
  • Soft Skills: Punctuality, openness, and a collaborative mindset.
  • Interest in QA (bonus): A desire to dive into testing or quality assurance is a definite advantage.
