Executive Business Partner – (£40,000-£50,000) – 12 months FTC – Hybrid Role

About our Team:

  • This role reports to the EVP, Editorial & Global Executive Lead, DEI and VP, Books & Social Science Innovation and sits within a cross-departmental team, with departmental support provided to the Books Editorial team and the Office of DEI.

  • Detail-Oriented: Your careful attention to detail ensures accuracy in all tasks, from managing expenses to preparing presentations.
  • Commercially Focused: You have a drive to help achieve company objectives and understand the importance of aligning your work with business goals.
  • Adaptable: You can manage multiple workloads and tasks, demonstrating flexibility and resilience in a fast-paced environment.
  • Confidentiality: You handle sensitive and confidential information with maturity and pragmatism.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong relationship management and interpersonal skills to foster a collaborative work environment.

Your new role:

  • Organisational and Administrative Support: Provide support to the EVP, Editorial & Global Executive Lead, DEI and the VP, Books and Social Science Innovation, as well as the Editorial Books team and the Office of DEI team. This includes diary management, room booking, reviewing and prioritising emails, compiling and circulating minutes/action points, preparing presentations, and conducting ad hoc research projects.
  • Travel Support: Manage and book flights, train tickets, taxis, itineraries, and visas.
  • Meeting Support: Schedule and organise onsite and offsite meetings, source external venues and manage budgets, liaise with external contacts, prepare agendas and meeting documents, and create PowerPoint presentations.
  • Departmental Support: Organise department meetings, manage agendas, readaheads, and slides, and provide administrative support to the Editorial Books department, the Office of DEI and the AI Hub.
  • Project support: Manage the AI SharePoint page and ad hoc projects to tight deadlines, ensuring delivery is on time and managed alongside your usual workload.
  • Expenses: Manage and process your Executives’ expenses and be the point of contact for all ODEI expenses, ensuring expenses are recorded, POs are raised quickly and team’s expenses are approved in Proactis.
