We’re looking for a seasoned Program Manager to lead key initiatives within the payments landscape for a global player in the retail industry. This full-time consulting assignment runs from June 9 2025 to December 31 2025, with possible extension.
You are allowed to work fully remote, giving you flexibility while working at the heart of digital transformation.
About the role:
In this role, you will ensure the ongoing reliability and compliance of store payment systems across multiple countries. You’ll lead cross-functional collaboration and coordinate complex projects within the payments domain, reporting directly into a senior digital or tech leadership team. Your work will play a central role in shaping future-proof, efficient, and compliant payment experiences across markets.
Responsibilities:
- Lead program efforts to upgrade payment systems in key markets, focusing on compliance and operational reliability
- Facilitate collaboration across teams and track project milestones and dependencies within the payments domain
- Coordinate multiple initiatives related to compliance and functional enhancement of payment solutions
- Analyze previous problem cases to identify recurring challenges and align stakeholders around effective resolutions
- Drive continuous improvement by tracking efficiency metrics, identifying bottlenecks, and promoting process transparency
- Serve as the central point for problem management, working with internal teams and external vendors to resolve issues
- Engage with vendors of payment solutions to ensure alignment on delivery, compliance, and integration
About you:
You're an experienced Program Manager with deep knowledge of the payments domain, particularly in complex, multi-market retail environments. Your strengths lie in bridging strategy and execution, managing stakeholder expectations, and driving cross-functional alignment. Your experience enables you to navigate both the technical and operational sides of payment solutions, ensuring projects stay on track and deliver real value.
Experience and Skills
- 5–7 years of experience in Program or Project Management
- Solid understanding of program methodologies such as Six Sigma and Agile
- Strong leadership and stakeholder engagement skills
- Proven knowledge and hands-on experience in payments systems (POS, payment solutions)
- Experience coordinating with external vendors of payment solutions
- Familiarity with Jira and Confluence
- Fluent in English, written and spoken
