Job Description

As our E-commerce Operations Specialist, you’ll be at the forefront of digital transformation for an established industrial supplies business. This role offers a unique opportunity to manage and grow a comprehensive e-commerce operation while working with cutting-edge industrial products and equipment. You’ll have full ownership of the online store operations, from product management to customer experience, making a direct impact on the company’s digital success. This position combines technical e-commerce expertise with business operations, offering excellent growth potential as the company expands its digital presence.

Responsibilities
  • Drive the success of the company’s WooCommerce platform through comprehensive management and optimization
  • Maintain and update extensive product catalogs, ensuring accurate pricing, descriptions, and inventory levels
  • Process and respond to customer inquiries professionally, providing exceptional support for both online and walk-in customers
  • Manage relationships with multiple suppliers and maintain detailed product spreadsheets
  • Execute website updates including new product launches, promotional content, and seasonal offerings
  • Ensure seamless integration between online operations and physical store inventory
  • Monitor website performance and implement improvements for better user experience
  • Coordinate with management to align e-commerce strategies with business objectives
  • Generate and analyze reports to track online sales performance and inventory metrics

Requirements
  • Proven experience with WooCommerce or similar e-commerce platforms
  • Strong proficiency in spreadsheet management and data organization
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Detail-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving abilities
  • Experience in customer service or technical support
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Basic understanding of website maintenance and content management
  • Comfortable working with technical product specifications and industrial supplies (preferred)
  • Experience with inventory management systems
  • Ability to work Western Australia business hours
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to maintain accurate records
  • Proactive approach to identifying and solving operational challenges
