*This position is a 100% remote U.S. based opportunity that can be based in one of the following states only: AL, FL, LA, MA, NJ, NC, SC, TX.

Travel for in-person agent meetings, conferences, trade shows, and sales team meetings will be required.

 

About the Position:

We have a great opportunity on our Sales team for a highly motivated, experienced P&C Account Executive. In this “hunter” position, you will seek out, sign up, manage relationships, and do whatever it takes to rapidly grow our existing agent base. You are a creative big-picture thinker who finds out-of-the-box ways to prospect and generate leads to increase sales. This is a fast-paced position that is perfect for someone who is self-motivated and goal-oriented. 

 

Key Responsibilities: (What you'll be asked to do)

  • Identify, source, and “hunt down” new agent relationships within an assigned area to rapidly grow our agent base.
  • Understand prospective agent's customer base and marketing strategy by presenting and explaining how Swyfft fits with their customers and strategy.
  • Deliver captivating in-person and virtual sales presentations to agents and cluster groups, by showcasing Swyfft’s world-class user experience and the products we offer. 
  • Promote Swyfft’s platform through the education of agents and cluster groups at trade shows, conferences, and industry events.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activity, and market conditions to inform sales strategies.
  • Partner with our sales and marketing team members to improve our agency platform experience.

  • You have a resilient personality; you can overcome any objection that comes your way and can turn setbacks into stepping stones.
  • You're comfortable working in a metrics-driven, goal-oriented sales environment.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. You can craft persuasive communications to capture the attention of even the most skeptical prospects.
  • Your natural curiosity about the P&C world makes you a valuable player in policy language and coverages.

 Some Requirements:

  • 5+ years of sales experience in an MGA, carrier, or agency environment.
  • Previous knowledge of Homeowners, Commercial, and Flood policies and programs.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required.
  • High School Diploma or its equivalent (GED) is required.

Computer Skills:

  • Must be proficient with MS Office and other internal insurance related programs, systems or applications. You must be good with technology and able to pick up on internal systems and programs quickly.
  • Ability to communicate effectively using programs such as Slack & MS Teams. You are comfortable sharing screens and video chatting.
  • Experience with CRM programs such as HubSpot is a plus.
