Senior Frontend Developer (Client)

We are on the lookout for an exceptional Senior Frontend Developer with deep expertise in Angular (2+), JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and jQuery to join our dynamic team. This role goes beyond just coding; it’s about shaping and defining the user experience for our suite of products. You’ll have the chance to work on cutting-edge serverless functions to ensure secure and seamless interfaces on the AWS Cloud.

Job Responsibilities

• Web Application Development: Design, develop, and maintain high-quality web applications using the Angular framework, ensuring a polished and responsive user experience.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements, design solutions, and deliver new features that delight users.
• UI/UX Implementation: Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs, providing innovative solutions that bring these designs to life.
• Performance Optimization: Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and efficiency.
• Code Reviews & Mentorship: Participate in code reviews, offering constructive feedback, and mentor junior developers to elevate the overall team’s skill set.
• Backend Integration: Collaborate with backend developers to seamlessly integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Technology & Best Practices: Stay abreast of emerging technologies and best practices in frontend development, and proactively apply them to projects.
• Troubleshooting & Debugging: Identify and resolve application issues to enhance performance, usability, and overall quality.
• Project Ownership: Take full ownership of projects, demonstrating initiative and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Requirements

• Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, with 6+ years of experience in Angular development.
• Angular Expertise: 6+ years of hands-on experience with Angular development, with a strong command of TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Responsive Design: Proven experience in building responsive, user-friendly web applications that work across various devices and screen sizes.
• State Management: Solid understanding of state management using RxJS or NgRx, ensuring smooth and efficient application performance.
• API Integration: Proficiency in working with RESTful APIs and handling asynchronous requests.
• Testing & Quality Assurance: Experience with Angular testing frameworks such as Jasmine, Karma, or Protractor to ensure robust and reliable code.
• Version Control: Strong understanding of version control systems, particularly Git, for efficient and organized code management.
• Problem-solving & Creativity: Excellent problem-solving skills, coupled with a creative approach to overcoming technical challenges.
• Communication & Teamwork: Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate within a team environment.

Preferred Skills:

• Agile Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile development practices and methodologies.
• Web Security: Understanding of security principles and best practices in web development.
• Advanced Angular Techniques: Expertise in advanced Angular and TypeScript features.
• Unit Testing: Proficiency in unit testing Angular applications to maintain code quality and reliability.
