Project Manager

Salary Range: $70K-85K

 

Job Description 

The Project Manager will play a pivotal role in guiding clients through successful software implementations while coordinating efforts across technical and customer-facing teams. This position requires a strategic thinker who thrives in dynamic environments and brings structure to complex initiatives. The ideal candidate excels at building strong client relationships, translating business needs into actionable plans, and continuously refining processes to drive efficiency and quality. Rooted in collaboration and impact, this role is well-suited for someone who is both operationally minded and passionate about creating meaningful outcomes in a mission-driven organization.

 
Job Responsibilities
  • Coordinate with the sales team to understand client requirements and expectations post-sale.
  • Review Statement of Work (SOW) documents and ensure all deliverables and committed timelines are captured in the project plan.
  • Manage the end-to-end implementation process, including sales transfer, data onboarding, platform delivery, user training, go-live support, and successful hand off to customer success.
  • Develop detailed project plans, including scheduling and resource allocation.
  • Communicate regularly with clients, keeping them informed of project progress and addressing any issues or concerns that arise.
  • Act as a point of contact for external technical teams, providing clear and concise technical instructions and guidance to ensure proper implementation.
  • Facilitate technical discussions between internal and external teams to address project challenges and align on solutions.
  • Understand and translate technical requirements into project plans, ensuring all stakeholders are informed and understand their roles and responsibilities.
  • Assess current implementation and project management processes, identifying opportunities for improvement and efficiency.
  • Monitor risks and issues for projects, ensuring timely escalation and resolution.
  • Manage data service request tickets for assigned projects and schedule necessary tasks for tracking and delivery.
  • Lead project kickoff meetings, working sessions, and all project related initiatives.
  • Lead initiatives to build, improve, and standardize project management and implementation methodologies, templates, and tools across the organization.
  • Manage one-off customer projects, establishing clear communication lines and expectations with customers about project lifecycle, from inception through deployment and conclusion.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external.
  • Regularly review and report on project progress, quality, and customer satisfaction.
Job Qualifications and Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Project Management, or a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in project management, preferably in a software implementation role.
  • Strong understanding of using data to solve business problems.
  • Demonstrated ability in process improvement, with a track record of designing and implementing new processes that increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Technical acumen with the ability to understand and communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proven experience managing multiple, concurrent projects.
  • Strong client-facing and communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Familiarity with Asana or other project management tools.
  • PMP or equivalent certification is preferred.
