Role Summary
In this senior role, you will have the opportunity to work with a collaborative, international team of experts supporting a range of clients, including top tier banks, in Switzerland and abroad. We are looking for experienced Avaloq specialists with the ability to map products and functionalities and/ or the technical skills to configure the system to meet the client’s requirements. GFT provides significant support for ongoing professional development, allowing you to further advance your skills.
Role Responsibilities:
- Analysis, design and implementation of technical solutions in close cooperation with the customer.
- The creation of technical and functional specifications.
- Full responsibility for the configuration and integration of Avaloq banking software.
- Driving project activities and ensuring the timely completion of workstream deliverables, ensuring that a high quality standard is maintained at all times.
- Management of teams & other departmental responsibilities.
- Support of product and business development activities.
Your Skills and Competencies:
- 5+ years of experience with a proven background in multiple successful Avaloq projects.
- University degree, preferably in computer science, economics or a similar relevant field.
- Able to easily understand the functional requirements of the client and map these to Avaloq products and/ or to configure the system to meet the client’s needs (both would clearly be an advantage).
- Experience with rest APIs and integrating Avaloq systems with external application landscapes, using APIs or other microservices would be beneficial but is not essential.
- Experience within financial services, ideally in Switzerland or a strong IT background with knowledge of the sector.
- Programming knowledge (PL/ SQL).
- Good stakeholder management & analytical skills.
- Fluent English & German, Italian and/ or French are a plus.
- Able to travel throughout the DACH region.
- EU/ Swiss citizen or valid Swiss work permit.
