Job Description for Content Manager

Responsibilities

• Develop content topics and ideas for articles targeting high-authority online publications.
  
• Manage writers through email communication, providing clear instructions and resource materials.
  
• Edit content to ensure it meets quality requirements and client expectations.
  
• Insert client brand mentions, quotes from executive teams, and links into content.
  
• Manage client feedback and implement requested changes.
  
• Prepare finalized content for client approval.
  
• Potentially conduct outreach to publishers.
  

Requirements

• Strong editorial and content management experience.
  
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  
• Attention to detail and quality control expertise.
  
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  
• Understanding of digital PR, link building, and content marketing principles.
  
• Experience with content ideation and topic development.
  

Scope

• Monday to Friday, 7am to 11am Eastern
  
• Direct management of content production workflow.
  
• Collaboration with external writers and internal team members.
  
• Client-facing communication regarding content revisions and approvals.
