POSITION SUMMARY:
Our Redmond-based client is looking for a Data Engineer for a remote position.

 

The main function of this role is to create automated dashboards which pull data from various sources including Azure DevOps (ADO), Excel and cross-org databases, and convert manual processes into live data visualization.

Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate projects, making detailed plans to accomplish goals and directing the integration of technical activities.
  • Analyze technology, resource needs and demand, to plan and assess the feasibility of projects.
  • Present and explain proposals, reports, and findings.
  • Responsible to design and post this information on an internal site for executive review
  • projects involving Power BI, Azure DevOps (ADO), and other dashboard platforms, driving the development of data-driven solutions.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2 years overall experience in the field is required.
  • Must have minimum 2 years’ experience with Power BI.
  • Must have minimum 2 years’ experience with ADO (Azure DevOps).
  • Must have minimum 2 years’ experience with dashboard and database management.
  • Should have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required.
  • Must have experience to manage the automation project to convert a manual process into an interactive dashboard.
  • Should have strong verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, attention to detail and interpersonal skills.
  • Should have basic ability to work independently and manage one’s time.
  • Should have basic knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and production methods.
  • Must have basic Datacenter Server Knowledge (preferrable Azure) and worked for MSFT before.

  • A competitive pay range of $50/hr- $52/hr (depending on experience).
  • Location: Remote - USA. 
  • 15 days per year of Paid Time Off (PTO).
