Job Description

As an Executive Assistant, you’ll become the right hand to a visionary founder, playing a pivotal role in scaling this exciting marketplace platform. This is no ordinary assistant position – you’ll have your hands in virtually every aspect of the business, from customer service to operations, marketing to documentation. Working directly with the founder, you’ll help transform big-picture ideas into actionable plans while managing day-to-day priorities that keep the business running smoothly. Responsibilities
  • Serve as the founder’s operational partner by managing emails, calendars, and appointment scheduling systems to maximize productivity
  • Champion customer satisfaction by monitoring support inboxes and crafting thoughtful, solution-oriented responses to customer inquiries
  • Drive operational excellence by creating and maintaining comprehensive standard operating procedures and documentation
  • Analyze business performance by developing data tracking spreadsheets that monitor user signups, conversion stages, and other key metrics
  • Craft compelling communications for customer outreach, network building, and stakeholder updates
  • Ensure seamless operations by following up with service providers and troubleshooting issues as they arise
  • Boost marketing efforts by creating engaging materials for events, social media, and promotional campaigns
  • Support platform testing by managing account creation and access across various digital tools
  • Conduct targeted research to inform business decisions and identify growth opportunities
  • Maintain quality control by performing regular operational checks and flagging issues requiring attention
Requirements
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace (G Suite) applications including Gmail, Calendar, Docs, and Sheets
  • Exceptional written communication skills with the ability to craft professional, engaging messages
  • Flexibility to work a varied schedule including some weekend availability to support peak business periods
  • Proactive mindset with strong attention to detail and the ability to anticipate needs before they arise
  • Experience supporting business operations or providing administrative assistance in fast-paced environments
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and securely handling sensitive customer information
  • Self-starter attitude with the ability to work independently while staying aligned with company goals
  • Interest in or familiarity with South Asian cultures and communities is a plus
