Are you a tech-savvy problem solver with a knack for making complex things sound simple? Love geeking out over IIoT, SCADA, and edge computing? Portainer is on the hunt for a Field Application Engineer based out of the US to help drive our edge compute revolution!

What’s the Gig?

You’ll be the US tech wizard behind our edge compute sales strategy, ensuring customers (OEMs, System Integrators, VARs, and ISVs) not only understand but love using Portainer. Think of yourself as the ultimate tech translator—turning technical jargon into “Aha!” moments.

Your Mission (Should You Choose to Accept It):

Craft and deliver engaging technical presentations that showcase Portainer’s edge capabilities.
Develop and implement Proof of Concepts that wow potential customers.
Create digital content (videos, blogs, etc.) to spread the Portainer gospel.
Close deals and build lasting relationships with new and existing customers.
Gather client feedback and help shape the future of our products.
Travel regionally and internationally to attend (or steal the show at) industry events.
Collaborate with the product team to enhance features and create cutting-edge solutions.
Assist with customer onboarding to ensure our customers get the most out of Portainer.
