A US-based health system company is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Remote Financial Controller to oversee all financial aspects of the organisation. The Financial Controller will be responsible for financial planning, record-keeping, and financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Management & Reporting:
Oversee all accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting.
Prepare timely and accurate financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to improve company profitability and efficiency.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax laws, and internal policies.
Budgeting & Forecasting:
Develop annual budgets and financial forecasts in collaboration with department heads.
Monitor budget performance, analyse variances, and provide recommendations for improvement.
Conduct cost-benefit analyses for strategic business decisions.
Risk Management & Compliance:
Maintain compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations.
Coordinate external audits, ensuring the timely resolution of any issues.
Manage Cap Table and associated requirements
Cash Flow & Treasury Management:
Manage cash flow, ensuring sufficient liquidity for operational needs
Team Leadership & Development:
Lead and mentor the junior accountant.
