Job description

Job Description: Your role will involve overseeing the development and dissemination of technology for external customers, vendors, and other clients to help improve and increase business. You will be responsible for guiding the design, development, and implementation of our software products and ensuring these align with the strategic goals of our organization.
Responsibilities:

Define the company’s technological vision and ensure that technological resources meet the company's short and long-term needs.
Lead the strategy for technology platforms, partnerships, and external relationships.
Build and manage a top-tier technology team to develop and innovate robust sports management solutions.
Oversee the development and maintenance of the product's technology roadmap.
Monitor technology and social trends that could impact the company.
Manage research and development (R&D) and technology initiatives to foster innovation.
Ensure that technology standards and best practices are maintained across the organization.
Provide leadership for developing and implementing information technology initiatives that improve cost-effectiveness, service quality, and business development in a constantly evolving marketplace.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred but not required.
Proven 5+ years of experience as a CTO or similar leadership role in technology.
Experience in building and leading diverse technology teams.
Experience with Ruby on Rails.
Sports industry experience is preferred.
In-depth knowledge of web systems architecture, design, and development.
Hands-on experience with complex project management.
Outstanding communication, interpersonal and leadership skills.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Decision-making and problem-solving skills with a focus on results.
