Job Role: Business Development Executive – Corporate Client Acquisition
Location: Srinagar (Work from Home) 
Salary: ₹25000 to ₹50,000 per month + Performance Incentives 
Work Schedule: Monday to Saturday, 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM IST

Job Overview
We are seeking dynamic and results-driven Business Development Executives to join our Corporate Client Acquisition Team. Based in Srinagar and working remotely, you will play a key role in building partnerships with HR and Learning & Development (L&D) managers at leading tech companies. Your mission: to pitch Rooman’s workforce upskilling programs and supply trained talent to meet their hiring needs.


Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Generation: Research and identify HR and L&D decision-makers at large tech companies using LinkedIn, company websites, and industry networks.
  • Outreach: Initiate contact via cold calls, emails, and LinkedIn messages to introduce Rooman’s services—upskilling programs (certifications, tech training) and hiring solutions (trained candidates). 
  • Requirement Gathering: Understand client needs, such as specific skills, training timelines, or hiring volumes, and align them with Rooman’s offerings. 
  • Pitching & Negotiation: Deliver compelling pitches tailored to each company, highlighting Rooman’s 25+ years of expertise, industry partnerships, and success stories. 
  • Relationship Management: Follow up diligently to secure meetings, pilot projects, or contracts, maintaining strong client rapport. 
  • Reporting: Track outreach efforts, responses, and deal progress in a CRM system, providing regular updates to the team. 
  • Collaboration: Work closely with Rooman’s operations and training teams to ensure client requirements are met seamlessly.

Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience: 2-5 years in B2B sales, business development, or client acquisition (preferably in education, IT, or recruitment). Freshers with exceptional communication skills may apply. 
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written English skills; ability to craft persuasive emails and deliver confident pitches over calls. 
  • Research: Strong ability to find and connect with corporate decision-makers using online tools. 
  • Tech Savvy: Comfortable with CRM software, email platforms, and virtual meetings tools (e.g., Zoom, Teams). Basic knowledge of IT skills/training is a plus. 
  • Mindset: Self-motivated, target-driven, and persistent with a knack for building relationships.
