About This Role
We’re looking for an Account Executive to disrupt the broken systems used by e-commerce companies to close their books accurately and timely. In this role, you’ll replace manual reconciliations, homegrown solutions and the market’s perception of the ‘proper’ tech stack for e-commerce accounting by routinely closing new logos. If you’re passionate about winning alongside our incoming clients and comfortable with challenging the status quo through a consultative approach, this is the perfect role for you.

What You’ll Do

  • Drive revenue growth through new logo acquisition, owning the entire sales cycle through close

  • Develop and execute strategies for closing opportunities within your assigned territory

  • Uncover customer needs and pain points that tie back to Blue Onion’s underlying value propositions

  • Articulate Blue Onion’s value propositions to the right personas at the right times

  • Own sales activity and monthly revenue forecasting in Hubspot

  • Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to incorporate customer feedback

  • A strong drive to succeed, and comfortable pushing the pace of action with customers and internal teams

What You’ll Bring

  • 3-5 years of quota-carrying direct SaaS sales experience in a full cycle closing role with strong prospecting, qualifying, negotiating, and closing skills

  • Experience closing upwards of 20 deals a quarter, with an average deal size about 50K in ACV

  • Ability to discuss Blue Onion’s value proposition with C-level executives, finance teams, and decision makers

  • Experience with outbound prospecting and conducting product demonstrations

  • Consultative sales approach with a consistent track record of hitting or exceeding sales targets in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong adaptability and ability to define and alter your path or direction to attain goals

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Compensation and Benefits

  • Base + variable: $200,000 - $300,000 based on experience and location.
