The Global Sales Instructional Design Specialist is responsible for developing engaging and impactful learning content to support the training and development of global sales teams. This role focuses exclusively on instructional design, ensuring that sales professionals receive high-quality, interactive, and effective training materials. The ideal candidate will use modern instructional design principles, e-learning tools, artificial intelligence (AI), and multimedia technology to create content that enhances sales skills, product knowledge, and overall performance.

We are currently looking for a Global Sales Instructional Design Specialist to join our team in our award-winning business remotely in the UK. This role is a fixed term for 8 months.

What you’ll be doing:

• Designing and developing sales-focused learning content, including e-learning modules, instructor-led training (ILT) materials, microlearning assets and interactive job aids.
• Applying instructional design best practices to create engaging, learner centered content tailored to global sales teams.
• Ensuring all training materials align with business goals, sales strategies and adult learning principles.
• Developing high quality e-learning courses using authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, Rise, Vyond and AI-powered learning tools.
• Leveraging AI to create personalised learning experiences, automating content generation and enhancing learner engagement.
• Creating multimedia elements, including animations, videos and simulations, to enhance learning experiences.
• Incorporating interactive elements such as quizzes, case studies and scenario based learning.
• Maintaining consistency in design, branding and instructional approach across all sales training materials.
• Reviewing and revising existing training materials to improve engagement, clarity and instructional effectiveness.

About you:

• Proven experience I instructional design with a focus on sales training content.
• Proficiency in e-learning authoring tools (Articulate Storyline, Rise, Vyond and AI-powered learning tools etc).
• Strong knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
• Experience using AI for content development, adaptive learning and automation in instructional design.
• Experience in multimedia production, including video creation and graphic design for learning.
• Excellent attention to detail, creativity and ability to simplify complex sales concepts into engaging training content.
• Degree in Instructional Design, Education, Learner Technology or related field.
