Position Title: COE Logistics Network Coordinator, FTC

Working Hour:  15-20 hours per week

Contract: 12 Month FTC

Location: Remote (UK)

Reports to: Logistics Manager

This role helps to support Global Logistics COE by maintaining consistency of standards and timely reporting of results across the network. Through external and internal interfaces, plus definition of processes, clear and consistent standards and requirements can be maintained across the network. Maintenance of the DC network collaboration will enable the most effective logistics tools to be deployed or shared across all operations.

 

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • KPI Collation / Reporting / Gap Analysis
  • Collation of all logistics KPIE across network of 20+ DCs, production of regional and global summaries; analysis of performance gaps vs targets and production of action plans in conjunction with line manager. Generation of monthly performance summary for Global Review with senior stakeholders. Improvement and automation of reporting in line with best practices.
  • CoE Model / Standards Documentation & Maintenance
  • Ownership of the end-to-end core model standards for Logistic operations; query resolution versus the standards; maintenance and updating of standards in line with agreed changes in best practice. Deployment of changes to DC network as required.
  • Diversion Control (Grey Market Scanning)
  • Ownership and maintenance of data collection of sales data for OPI/ Salon Professional Gold Line products. Collation of production and customer shipment scan data to enable identification of customers selling on products to unauthorized vendors. Investigation of potential diverters using compiled data as requested by markets
  • Marketing Items Inventory Management
  • Scheduled quarterly and ad-hoc analysis of Marketing Items (M Items) that are not being utilized. Including preparation of current inventory report, analysis to determine stock not moving, compilation of proposed Disposal Orders, and authorization request and follow-up actioning with Global and DC teams

 

SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

 

Essential:

  • Ability to understand and put into practice standard processes across role responsibilities
  • Ability to work with people across different geographies, cultures and levels of the organization using remote working tools (MS Teams, SharePoint etc)
  • Methodical and organized approach to tasks and able to seek guidance if requirements are not clear
  • Ability to work autonomously, self-motivated and able to challenge the status quo.
  • Advanced skills with standard Microsoft Office 365 software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Fluent written and spoken English
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills.
  • Strong presence, ability to develop credibility and natural working relationships across different departments, business units and cultures
  • Strong analytical thinker

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of the logistics industry (practical experience preferable)
  • Intermediate working experience with SAP, SharePoint, Access, Power BI and SQL
  • Additional language skills would be a benefit in this global role.
