Job Role: Finance & Payroll Coordinator (004-0093)

Work Schedule: This will be discussed by the client

Salary: 1,300- 1,500 AUD / monthly

Setup: Full-time, Remote, Employment Contract Agreement (EOR setup)

Role Overview:

We are seeking a Finance & Payroll Coordinator to manage bookkeeping, payroll, and financial reporting for our business. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Xero, handling invoicing, reconciliations, and bank feeds, with experience in payroll processing for full-time, casual, and contractor staff. While experience with Tanda is preferred, candidates familiar with similar payroll tools are encouraged to apply.

This role is perfect for someone who is detail-oriented, highly organised, and eager to contribute to a growing business with mature bookkeeping requirements. Candidates should also be aware that the role will include some office administration tasks.

Key responsibilities:

Accounts Payable:

  • Create purchase orders
  • Reconcile purchase orders against accounts payable
  • Recording accounts payable.
  • Reconcile accounts payable.
  • Prepare payment files as requested.

Accounts Receivable:

  • Create Invoices including recurring invoices
  • Reconcile payments
  • Email client statements
  • Provide reminders and follow up all outstanding accounts where applicable

Payroll:

  • Generate payroll reports and process Payroll (permanent, casual and contractors)
  • Allocate Leave
  • Record leave as required
  • Provide payroll reports for authorisation
  • Generate pay slips and email employees
  • Create payroll reports
  • Upload payments file to bank
  • Onboard staff as required

Accounts Reconciliations:

  • Reconcile business bank accounts
  • Reconcile business credit cards
  • Reconcile reimbursements

Reporting:

  • Weekly receivables report
  • Weekly accounts payable report
  • Preparation of monthly financial reports for our monthly management meeting

Office Administration:

  • Perform general administrative tasks to support business operations.

Requirements

Professional Experience:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in finance administration, including handling accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing, and financial reconciliation.
  • Proven experience with bookkeeping and accounting software, specifically Xero.
  • Experience in invoicing, reconciliations, and bank feeds.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and familiarity with office management software.
  • Strong proficiency in Xero Accounting Software.
  • Preferably has hands-on experience using Tanda software or similar tools for rostering, timesheets, payroll, and HR management.
