Overview:

Come join us as a Software Engineer II and be a part of our fast-growing team on the cutting edge of voice analytics! We are looking for a talented, highly motivated software engineer II with experience in development, design, and testing.

You will: 

  • Build and maintain scalable web applications
  • Develop Javascript backend services (with NodeJS)
  • Deliver testable, maintainable, and high-quality code
  • Engineering duties include technical design, implementation, testing, support and participation in peer code reviews.
  • Collaborate and interact with multiple engineering and Product teams

 

You have:

  • 5+ years of experience building successful production software systems
  • 3+ years of experience in development of Microservices, RESTful API, backend systems
  • Frontend Web Frameworks - Vue, Angular
  • Backend Web Frameworks -  NodeJS
  • Code repository and deployment pipelines - GIT, Docker and Kubernetes
  • Relational or non relational databases experience, including MySQL and Cassandra.
  • Graduate degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or another quantitative field.

You should be an expert in:

  • Strong programming skills in NodeJS/Typescript (3 years) - MUST
  • Working knowledge of technologies such as Kafka, Redis and NoSql (1 year) - MUST
  • Experience with Git (1 years) - MUST
  • Experience in Kubernetes is a plus
  • Experience in AWS is a plus

 

Benefits: 

The salary range for this role will be between 104,000 CAD to 128,000 CAD. Final compensation will be determined by a variety of factors, including, but not limited to your location, skills, experience, education, and/or professional certifications. During the phone screening, your recruiter will provide the location-specific salary range for this role.
