Job description

Local or 100% Remote

Who we are

Our mission at Point is to make homeownership more valuable and accessible to all. Every day, we explore, build, and iterate to create innovative financial products that improve the lives of our customers. Together, we’re creating the premier full-stack home equity platform to help current homeowners access their home wealth and aspiring ones realize their dream of homeownership. Point has raised over $180M from Andreessen Horowitz, WestCap, Prudential and other leading investors.

About the role

We are seeking a strategic and analytical leader to drive the production partnerships at the heart of our HEI origination platform. In this role, you will develop and execute strategies for our title, appraisal, and credit partnerships, fostering deep relationships within these ecosystems to enhance our underwriting process and investment performance. You will identify high-impact opportunities to improve our risk-assessment platform, prioritize enhancements based on business impact, and lead cross-functional initiatives to optimize key performance indicators. Collaborating closely with internal stakeholders, you will influence and align teams on new product initiatives while effectively communicating key metrics, progress, and recommendations to senior leadership. This is an opportunity to take ownership of a key pillar of our efforts to scale and expand our unique offering to more Americans.

Our culture

We are a people-first, value-driven team. We come from varied backgrounds, experiences, and time zones. Our teams are aligned in service to our goal — to improve the lives of customers. Our culture is built on sharing ideas, supporting each other, and being empowered to do our best work. Find out what you can accomplish as part of an engaged, high-achieving team focused on a common goal.

  • Strategic Partner Management
    • Leveraging your ability to use structured thinking to break down complex problems, define the product vision, and roadmap across our title, appraisals, and credit partnerships.

    • Manage partnerships, including cultivating relationships with partner leadership, conducting regular performance reviews, ensuring contract compliance, and addressing any performance issues.
    • Develop systematic approaches to evaluating our partners and their products, and champion a data-driven approach to decision-making across our partnership strategy.
  • Product Insights & Collaboration
    • Establish KPIs that enable early identification of positive and negative trends and opportunities for improvements.
    • Gather insights from internal and external user feedback, production analytics, research, experiments, and competitors to understand user and partner needs.
    • Drive product delivery by working collaboratively with product managers, design, engineering, and operations (and others as needed) to quickly execute on your initiatives and iteratively deliver value.
    • Orchestrate flawless product and process launches by ensuring a high quality bar and achieving maximum adoption by internal teams as needed.
  • Cross-Functional Influence
    • Influence overall company strategy by bringing product thinking and insights to leadership stakeholders.
    • Drive stakeholder alignment by (over)communicating and building deep relationships which facilitate trust.
    • Build compelling cases for your recommendations in order to gain buy-in and support throughout the organization.
