The Role
As part of our Quality team, we are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Compliance Manager (m/f/d) to ensure our organization adheres to all legal and regulatory requirements. The Compliance Manager (m/f/d) will develop and implement compliance policies, conduct audits, and provide guidance to internal teams to mitigate risks and ensure regulatory compliance within the electronics industry, particularly in wireless IoT solutions.
Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and oversee compliance policies and procedures.
  • Monitor and ensure adherence to all regulatory and legal requirements relevant to the electronics industry and IoT solutions, including product approvals and certifications.
  • Implement compliance according to ESG standards, carbon footprint reporting, ISO 27001, and cybersecurity regulations and frameworks.
  • Conduct regular internal audits and risk assessments to identify and address compliance issues.
  • Investigate and resolve compliance concerns or violations, taking corrective action as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of compliance reports, activities and findings.
  • Liaise with regulatory bodies, test houses and external auditors to validate product compliance and ensure transparency and alignment with standards.
  • Stay updated on evolving laws, regulations, and best practices in compliance management, particularly in the IoT and electronics industry.
  • Collaborate with leadership and key stakeholders to develop a culture of compliance within the organization.
  • Provide training to employees on compliance-related matters
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to support processes such as product definition and development.
What we look for in candidates
  • A degree in Engineering, Computer Science or a related field. 
  • In-depth knowledge of industry regulations and legal compliance requirements within the electronics and IoT sector. (e.g., CE Marking, RED, FCC, UL, RoHS, REACH, WEEE).
  • Experience with ISO 27001, ISO 9001, ESG frameworks and cybersecurity regulations and best practices is highly desirable.
  • An outstanding digital and AI skill set is required to manage compliance in modern, digital and AI way.
  • Experience in product approvals and working with test houses for certification purposes.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism.
  • Experience with compliance management software is a plus.
  • Certifications such as Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM) or Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP) or Internal Auditor are preferred.
