Job description

Project Manager, Implementation

Exterro is seeking a motivated and results-driven Project Manager, Implementation to join our dynamic Professional Services team. In this role, you will manage software implementation projects for customer accounts from inception to completion. Acting as a liaison between the company and the customer, you will ensure all targets and requirements are met, and projects are successfully completed. You will be responsible for implementing and training end-users, managing multiple, complex projects for Exterro’s Fortune 500/Global 2000 customers, and creating and updating implementation materials. 


  Roles and responsibilities:

  • Work with customers and their resources to implement end-to-end solutions and ensure successful project implementation for customer satisfaction.
  • Provide customers with guidance and support and insight into the most effective utilization of Exterro technology.
  • Liaise with customers' business and IT teams to gather and produce detailed requirements and functional specifications for the system configuration process.
  • Demonstrate strong analytic and leadership skills, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements.
  • Lead projects from requirements definition through to closure, identifying and managing deliverables, schedules, scope, resources and issues and adhering to best project management practices with agility to pivot to changing circumstances
  • Develop, maintain and adapt end-to-end project plans, tasks, resources, deliverables and milestones  
  • Effective RAID Management with necessary mitigations and strategies in place
  • Monitor, report and communicate project status and progress internally and to customers against key milestones and offer viable solutions and opportunities to ensure on time delivery
  • Build and maintain long lasting relationships with stakeholders at all levels to ensure efficient project implementation
  • Foster collaboration and facilitate communication between internal and external stakeholders to ensure scope & schedule adherence
  • Conduct regular quality reviews and implement corrective actions to maintain high standards throughout the project lifecycle, following Agile principles of inspecting and adapting
  • Collaborate with internal teams for pre-sales activities such as definition solutions, creating proposals/SOW, presenting solutions to customers and managing Proof of Concept process 
  • Provide an ongoing communication with customers and internal teams by updating project plans, reports and requirements to communicate customer objectives
  • Provide product feedback and suggestions via the appropriate internal communication channels
  • Assist with management of internal team projects
  • Develop, maintain, and demonstrate strong knowledge of Exterro’s platform functionality and capabilities.

 

Skills and experience:

  • 3+ years of relevant experience.
  • Experience managing SaaS enterprise software platform implementation projects, preferably for external customers.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Experience working with very high touch, complex software implementations is strongly preferred.
  • Experience with and/or the ability to quickly grasp how corporate litigation, legal IT, and legal operations departments function and knowledge of the benefits and role technology plays in the legal environment.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, responsiveness, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to identify and resolve unique problems and navigate between details and strategic solutions.
  • Familiarity with project planning software.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment.
  • Willingness to work on a flexible schedule to align with customers in different time zones in the US.
  • Willingness and ability to travel 10-20% of the time.

As a remote first organization, our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The salary range for this remote position is $100,000-$125,000 per year, based on skills, experience and qualifications. The actual offer will be based on the individual candidate. Exterro is a total compensation company, and this role may be eligible for variable pay, equity, bonus and/or other forms of compensation as part of the package. In addition, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, retirement plans, flexible paid time off and more.
